Policy Survey Introduction and Disclosure
I am Robert S. Muhammad, a PhD candidate in Urban Planning and Environmental Policy at the Barbara Jordan-Mickey Leland School of Public Affairs at Texas Southern University. I am writing to request your participation in an online research study that is part of my doctoral dissertation. The purpose of my research is to contribute to the improvement of community planning policy and practice.
The target participants of this survey instrument are public officials or professionals in the fields of Economic Development, Transportation, Environmental Science, Emergency Management, Public Safety, Community-Neighborhood Development, Agricultural, and Public Works planning or practice. I am soliciting survey participants in the public, private, or non-profit sectors of the Houston-Galveston 13 County Region.
-This on line survey takes 20-30 minutes to complete and poses NO PHYSICAL HAZARD
-Your participation in this on line survey is completely VOLUNTARY and ANONYMOUS
-Your answers will be kept COMPLETELY CONFIDENTIAL
– An OPTIONAL follow up section is included at the end of the survey for further discussions
The results of this survey will be published for the public in the final draft of my dissertation.
